Best Kept Secret in the Sunshine State! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I have to keep pinching myself living in Lakeside, Florida because I can not believe nobody knows about this best-kept secret. I bought a house here in Lakeside and each weekend I find even more reasons to love this area. I can eat at some of the best seafood restaurants, especia ...Read More lly since the Amelia Island region is known as the shrimping capital of the world.

The best areas in Lakeside are all shopping related. I can get to the Orange Park Mall, Avenues Mall, or Saint Augustine Outlet Mall, all in less than a half hour. This city literally hugs the Saint Johns River, or I can drive a few miles east and be at Jax Beaches where the white sands stretch 100 miles south through Saint Augustine and Daytona Beach.

My neighborhood is quiet, my neighbors are all fun to be around, and I am seconds from the 295 loop that can take me to the River City outdoor shopping center or right to the Jacksonville airport. Read Less
