Lake Station Indiana: Hometown Lake Living User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I experienced great hometown memories while living in Lake Station Indiana. The city is in Lake County. Lake Station is close to Crown Point Indiana. The city has a great education system. Newcomers may find that housing and employment channels are diminishing. Inflation is not a ...Read More factor here. The area is safe inside and around the township. Climates here are great during all seasons. This makes it easy to enjoy the city all year.

Some of the best areas in Lake Station Indiana surround Marquette Park. This area is located on the shoreline. It is a very scenic environment that is great for enjoyment. Families come out every weekend to take in the natural viewpoints near the lake. Lake Station hosts quite a few notable festivals year round, like the Fuzz Follies and The Heritage Days Festival. I like that Gary Indiana is somewhat close and offers additional recreational resources. The town is very conveniently located. It allows easy access to everything. I love the hometown feel here.
