Pizzeria heaven Ronkonkoma! 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I have been living in Ronkonkoma, NY for 15 years now. This is the most family-friendly area that I have lived in. The unforgettable restaurants are close by and have amazing atmospheres. You will find famous pizzerias mixed with classy restaurants. I absolutely love pizza, there ...Read More fore, having pizzerias nearby is a dream come true. There are many activities and events but the best areas in Ronkonkoma are around Portion Rd and Hawkins Ave especially if you are into the nightlife scene.

Ronkonkoma is located in Long Island and it is huge. I am literally about 10 minutes away from grocery stores, a bagel deli, and the Smith Haven Mall. The residential neighborhood areas have been a blessing because they are safe and quiet for raising a family.

A great thing is that there is little crime in my area. The only thing I would like to be improved are the roads as you will hit a pothole every 0.5 miles. One would think with the taxes being as high as they are that our roads could be repaired. Read Less
