Kernersville, A Touch Of Nature Outside Of Winston-Salem User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) So many acres of woods to enjoy! The town itself is a beautiful, growing part of the South that blends old-timey charm with modern development, but what I really love about living in Kernersville, NC is the beautiful forests around and even in the city.

...Read More ville, NC would be the Applegate and the area around Harmon Park. North of Harmon Park is a beautiful selection of restaurants, and a few more eateries are southbound on Bodenhamer (Highway 66).

The woods around Kernersville reach all over, from the sprawl of upscale neighborhoods to the developing family homes of people who commute to nearby Winston-Salem. You could explore the entire city and always find something new, or just pick out a perfect spot among the trees to catch a cool breeze or to rescue yourself from the rain.

If you're interest in shopping, there's not many unique shops in the area. You can get your essentials from Walmart and a few grocery stores, but most unique shopping will be in Winston-Salem and Greensboro. Read Less
