Jacksonville Beach: The Right Side of the Ditch 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I’ve called Jacksonville Beach home for the majority of my life. Living in Jacksonville Beach offers something you don’t get living on the other side of the ditch, or the Intracoastal Waterway, which separates the Beaches from inland Jacksonville.

The best area in Jacksonvi ...Read More lle Beach is the Seawalk Pavilion, where all the action happens, from festivals to movies under the stars. Of course, the beach itself is no sandbox, and there are many delicious food venues and entertainment options year-round. If you enjoy an active lifestyle, it’s nothing short on that either. Sure, living in Florida does mean hot temperatures for most of the year, but it’s definitely worth it in this paradise.

While the Beaches offer a lot fun and relaxation, there are many opportunities for community service. You can get involved by keeping the beach clean or offer a hand to the large homeless population. Ultimately, the sense of community is unlike any I’ve experienced. Read Less
