A Great Place to Live - Indianola, Iowa 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Living in Indianola is great! There's all kinds of fun things to do here, for example the National Balloon Classic Field is located here and every year we have a hot air balloon competition. You really can't describe the beauty of seeing all those balloons up in the sky all at on ...Read More ce! We also have the Summerset Winery which also tours and wine sampling!

The economy and cost of living here is really competitive to the area. There is a lot of expansion going on as well for job growth. We aren't too far away from the state capitol, Des Moines, so if you are looking for an opportunity to shop for larger named department stores carrying the latest brands that is the place to be. Here in town we have a great variety of specialty shops and boutiques you won't find anywhere else.

The thing I like best about Indianola is the parks. There are all kinds of parks with trails and bike paths that I love to explore bringing me closer to nature! Read Less
