In addition to meeting people where I work, I was also able to meet many in my neighborhood by joining the neighborhood watch group. Pasadina, TX is a very safety conscious area.

One pleasant surprise was the Pasadina Heritage Park and Museum. It is a great place filled with antiques and a ton of history. The best part is that it offers free tours on most weekdays and Saturdays. It is a great place to take friends and family when they come into town for a visit.

Being located so conveniently close to Houston, TX offers you the many advantages of city life as well. The big city offers an eclectic array of restaurants, shows, and sporting events. Many who reside in Pasadina like to take Saturday day trips into Houston for a day of shopping and sight seeing.

Dining in the big city is nice but when you are in town, Gabby's Barbecue is a favorite amongst the locals. With a style all their own, they offer a good variety of food with a western motif. Their live music on Friday and Saturday nights brings in many locals and some out of towners as well.

Pasadina, Houston, TX has a lot to offer restaurants. It may not be the flashiest place to live, but it is a great place to hang your hat and call home. When I moved to Pasadina Houston TX I didn't know what I was heading for. Now I know the joys of living in a small town with a big city right next door. Read Less
