My Hometown Of Homewood Illinois User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Living in Homewood, IL has been particularly favorable in terms of simplicity and convenience. I feel as though the areas of interest are just close enough for one to be able to enjoy their time here without having to look for much more outside of the city limits. There are many ...Read More restaurants, fitness clubs, and stores with great shopping along Harwood Avenue.

Housing is relatively low priced in comparison to what I have heard from family and friends living elsewhere in the state. I understand that the "get what you pay for" phrase is overused, but here you really do. There are plenty of things to do, and great housing to choose from.

All in all the usual questions I get from people looking into Haywood living, are questions about the school system. I am not an educator, but being educated here and having to opportunity to go to college and get a degree says alot about the school system. The majority of folks in town have their high school diploma and are employed tax paying citizens. Read Less
