A nice town filled with many rich people. Hinsdale has a very nice downtown area with many restaurants and shopping areas. Also a decent amount of parks in the area. It's a pretty safe area although downtown may get chaotic at times and the area on Ogden near i294 as well but not ...Read More

Hinsdale, Illinois is a suburb of Chicago located to the west/southwest of the city. It is a diverse and welcoming community and definitely geared more towards the upper middle-class with the higher priced homes. Jobs are certainly not hard to come by considering how close Hinsda ...Read More
le is to the city and many of the region's corporate centers. Hinsdale is conveniently located close enough to the city as to not compromise on it's conveniences and is close enough to the country to maintain a sense of rural charm that you may not find in the suburbs closer to Chicago.
The shopping, dining and nightlife in Hinsdale are decent. It is more of a family community so you won't find many nightlife options but that usually isn't a problem for most residents considering that more vibrant suburbs and the city of Chicago itself is a quick drive away or you can take a quick ride there on the Metra rail station that takes you directly into the city.
Overall, Hinsdale is a great place to live if you're looking to raise a family or simply to settle down in a region that is friendlier and more inexpensive than Chicago yet maintains the conveniences that the city has to offer.
