Great City...worst Police Department 2.5 rating By janedoe1 ( Sep 16, 2013) The City of Highland Village offers a great area to live, between the schools and shopping, Highland Village offers everything a family could ever need. However....Beware...if you have High School aged children in the area. The Highland Village Police department treats juveniles ...Read More as if they are actual criminals. Their tactics are questionable at best. They will not have the best interest of your child at heart if it does not suite their purpose. The internal investigation procedures are a joke. If you want anything done by pass them completely and go straight to the Denton County District Attorney.They are nothing but bullies in a uniform. Read Less
