Enjoying The Arts And Outdoors In Henderson 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I've lived in Henderson for about five years. The small town features houses that are spread out instead of large apartment complexes. Sidewalks in front of the houses are well-kept, making it easy to walk from one home to another when you're going trick-or-treating with the kids ...Read More or if you want to visit some of the people in the town. There isn't a lot in the way of nightlife that Henderson has to offer. However, there are a few small art galleries and outdoor activities that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Several shows are performed at the Raleigh Road Outdoor Theater, especially in the spring and summer. Many of the shows are by musical groups, but there have been a few plays presented that I have enjoyed attending. Bee's Knees Country Store might sound like a small business, but it's one of the largest stores in the town. You can find everything from wall decorations to toiletries that you need for the home to homemade goods like preserves and candles. Read Less
