The job market causes you to have to seek employment outside of living in Harvey. You would have to go to the Greater Chicago area, due to the fact that immediate employers aren't paying much. Even though they don't pay much, one relief is the fact that the house prices are staying pretty low.
Crime as many know about Chicago is definitely an issue, as there are many instances where trouble starts from nothing. If you mind your business and stay away from the "bad" areas, you can live an amazing life here. The school system is failing and that is due to politics and this recent crime rate. I know things will change here because the people don't stand for it.
