I Love Living in Grimes, Iowa! 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I love living in Grimes! I came here to go to college 14 years ago and like it so much that I put down permanent roots after graduation and wouldn't want to call anywhere else home! People in this community are friendly, helpful and just all around great! We have a very competiti ...Read More ve school district which is truly important to me and my family!

There's plenty to do here in Grimes, lots of beautiful parks with state of the art playground equipment for the kiddies to play on, a bike path for walks or riding your bike on, and some truly magnificent foliage to view and just bring you closer to nature.

There's several different options for shopping, we have a mall, there's Walmart, Target and more so if you are looking to shop there are quite a few different places to choose from. Of course there are also little specialty shops and boutiques located downtown that's a lot of fun to visit and window shop at on a weekend afternoon! Read Less
