Living in Griffith is quiet, peaceful, and laid back. We could do with some better housing since there isn't a lot of it available and some of it needs to be fixed up a bit, and the weather can get pretty rough especially during tornado season, but those of us who have lived here ...Read More
for a long time are used to it. The crime rate isn't too bad at all. The schools are as good as any you will find anywhere. We have a good number of graduates and a fair number of dropouts. Jobs can be found if you aren't too picky. You can make a decent living and be comfortable here.
We have some attractions and things to do here. one of the most popular attractions is the house where Michael Jackson grew up over in Gary, which is close to here. The Griffith Historical Park and Train Museum is one of the best areas in Griffith, in my opinion. Loads of fun and it's educational too. Zig-E's Funland is also a pretty awesome place if you like arcade games, go-karts, laser tag, etc.
