Greenfield, WI; Home of the Citizen Police Academy 4 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 26, 2018) I’ve lived in Wisconsin for most of my adult life, and love to travel and explore what the state has to offer. The big thing about Greenfield that drew me in was the Boerner Botanical Gardens. I would recommend visiting that to everyone. It was picture perfect and was as drowne ...Read More d out by ‘city noise’ for being so close to Milwaukee. From the information given at the Botanical Garden, the city of Greenfield also wants to beautify the community so much that the entire area looks like the garden through their Greenfield Beautification Committee. That would be cool to see.

Greenfield is also home to the Citizen’s Police Academy. Basically they allow members of the community to meet and greet with law enforcement personnel and learn how and why they do what they do. Participants did have to be 18 years or older. My daughter is far to young for that now but I think she will learn a great deal from that once she gets to that age. Read Less
