Bogus bureaucracy, radically divided town, impatient rude people

Great Neck is a money grubbing cold town. You get hit with $50 for parking in front of your own home and if you have guests this is hard ticket not to get. The regular taxes too are sky high too. The most freaquent topics of conversations are race and religion and there is even ...Read More
a large divide within the Jewish religion itself there. The train station is virtually unparkable and the rubbernecking on middle neck road makes it quite unpleasant to drive.
Other then this, the town has a good library and parks but if you want to live I high end town I would still avoid the judgmental, uncaring and rapacious money grubbing parking ticket town on great neck at all costs. Everyone should be able to park in front of there homes!
