I have live in the Redlands which is the last agricultural area in south for 32 years. It is still amazing with the Menanite farm, golf, organic farms and still close to town and great medical care. It’s in sane zip code as Gould’s but is in west close to Krome Avenue. High e ...Read More

After living in Goulds, Florida for 4 years I cannot find words strong enough to warn anyone against living there, visiting there, even driving through there! There is nothing positive about living in Goulds. People say it used to be one of the best areas in that part of the stat ...Read More
e, but if that's true there's absolutely nothing left these days to show it. The school system is shameful, with nearly twice as many kids dropping out each year as there are graduating. There are no jobs to be had and even less housing. Shabby homes, run-down neighborhoods with trash-filled streets and yards, and people who look like they've just given up on life. There's nothing in that place that's not depressing. About the only thing bright about Goulds is the sunshine that shows its face pretty much year-round.
If you do find yourself in Goulds there are a few things you can do to pass the time away. Visit the Coral Castle, go for a tour at Airboat in Everglades, hit up Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventure Tours, do some shopping at Cauley Square antique and art galleries, or enjoy Safari EdVentures.
