Gloversville in Need of More Development User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Gloversville is a great place for developers as the city is declining. Jobs are scarce in the city, so most people travel a distance for their job. The best thing about Gloversville is Adirondack Park as it provides beautiful scenery and is very relaxing to take walks or just sit ...Read More and watch nature.

The cost of living is very low as there are a lot of homes that are foreclosed or abandoned. This makes the crime a little higher than most cities of this size. The neighborhood that I live in is very clean and we try to work together to make it the best place for our family. Living in Gloversville comes with its perks. I love that we have all four seasons especially winter. My family and I love to ski, build snowmen and do as many snow-related activities as we love the cold weather. The summers are a little humid, but we spend most of our time at the park. Read Less
