Close to Nature, with a Small-Town Feel 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I was born and raised in Glens Falls, New York and after going to college and working elsewhere for a while, I decided that I needed to come back home. Living in Glens Falls, New York has always provided me with a great sense of security. This community is just north of the Hudso ...Read More n River and our population is small, so we definitely have that small-town feel.

The cost of living here is average compared to surrounding towns, so nothing out of the ordinary price wise when comparing it to other local towns. The crime in this area is also low. Everyone is so polite and this city is just so cute.

The best areas in Glen Falls, New York are the local scenic areas. This community is very close to several lakes and the mountains. You can always take a day trip to the Adirondack Park Reserve, if you want to get up close and personal with nature or just need a day on a hiking trail. Read Less
