Small town feel 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 08, 2020) I can't believe the amount of litter that is tolerated. Bulk trash is put on the curb, left for weeks at a time. They changed the chemicals in the water and never gave notice. I've been in pools that smelled like less chlorine. I've seen numerous long time businesses closed recen ...Read More tly, usually retirement, but new businesses are right on the heels to fill those spots. There are farmers markets on the weekends and during the week on the town green and numerous activities during the summer. I call it a two-story town. I enjoy it I'm just disappointed with the taxes and all the exhaust from huge trucks that are allowed to drive through a small town. I feel they should be rerouted to help maintain smaller town feel. There's a wood store in town that has beautiful wood but they blow the sawdust into a tractor trailer and it's in the air and lands in your house, constant dust. I feel they should be held accountable to dispose of it properly. there is transportation,a shuttle bus which I feel can be accomplished at a much lower cost considering the usage than $300,000 a year. I feel they could use one of their senior citizens vans from the community center and accomplish the same thing. The money could be used to pay our police officers and increase the force. Read Less
