Crime is very high police departments and court systems are corrupt , there's a lot of shootings , the police departments don't report the shootings up out of the county and they do ...Read More n't report they're murders or aggravated assaults or rapes to FBI statistics at all , Blacksburg is just as bad and even more racist and backwards all the people out there have Thug Life mouths and 911 fingers , jobs don't pay well , rents are expensive. And people all act like they're better than you , while they're wearing an ankle monitor and coming off some drug Gaffney is filled with drugged out zombies wandering all over the place especially near East Gaffney. Living in Gaffney, South Carolina has had its pros and cons for my family and I. The community is small and diverse. The neighbors here are nice and in the immediate neighborhoods it is safe enough, although recently crime ...Read More has been increasing.

Overall the options for renting and buying are decent and affordable. The biggest issue that we have had, are that the schools are just not up to par. All of the local elementary schools need building improvements. The high school is also in need of upgrades.

The best areas in Gaffney, South Carolina are the Friday night football games in the fall. This community takes their high school football seriously. Overall this place is decent. I can’t imagine living here forever, but the community is stable and you can easily travel to neighboring towns to get the goods and services that you need that you cannot find here. Read Less
