this is a boring town for old people. the roads are ridiculously bad, and they choose to fix road areas that are drive-able opposed to those that aren't (i.e. the highway, one lane in the downtown area is literally falling to pieces). bad town planning. money is going into someon ...Read More
e's pockets, or it's just going to frivolous things. would not recommend unless you're old and don't go anywhere, and don't drive. everything good has burned down, there's a serial arsonist who has ruined the bowling alley, the roller skating rink, the book nook, a furniture store, and a used furniture store, and that's just all i know about. and now ATVs and golf carts are allowed on the road... as if people didn't drive badly enough, they have to throw vehicles unsafe for city streets into the mix. the middle school is in the middle of nowhere, the elementary schools need a lot of work, if not new buildings entirely. but they want to put a new elementary school by the middle school, also in the middle of nowhere. they would have to bus a majority of students, and don't even have enough bus drivers for people who live within 2 miles of the school. just dumb dumb dumb.

articles. It has a low crime rate. There are places you can get locally grown food. It's absolutely beautiful at Christmas. And there's a rodeo! And hot air balloons! And a lovely river view from many places in the town. It's a great place to raise a family! I give it an A+.
