A Fantastic Place to Call Home! Farragut, Tennessee 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I love living in Farragut, Tennessee because this town is rich in history, just a stones throw from Knoxville, and has the best of both worlds being a small town yet close to a metro area.

Farragut was named after David Farragut who was a Civil War Admiral that was born here. Th ...Read More ere is a museum located here with stories of Admiral Farragut and artifacts from the Civil War. There are several other things to view in Farragut as well such as outdoor concerts, children's fishing clinics, book festivals and holiday parades.

Dining has several options from steak and seafood, brick oven pizza, general cafe food, all-American fare and ethnic cuisine, all very attractively priced.

The Turkey Creek shopping complex has several different types of stores for you to browse whether you are looking for lawn and garden, clothes, accessories, furniture, gifts and more.

Job growth is on the rise here too with new jobs in different fields opening on the horizon, making Farragut a great place to call home! Read Less
