The Vulcan Park and Museum is nearby, which provides plenty of outdoor fun and exhibits that teach you about the history ...Read More of Fairfield and Birmingham. Or, visit Rotary Trail for hiking and biking. Rickwood Field Park is also nearby, and is a great place to see a sports game. Regions Field is another popular location where you can watch your favorite baseball players in action.

You may also want to visit 16th Street Baptist Church, which is an historic site that was a significant part of the Civil Rights era. If you want to do some shopping in Fairfield, you'll find a variety of shops and restaurants at Western Hills Mall. You can also pay a visit to the Birmingham Museum of Art to take in beautiful work from artists who have a connection to the Fairfield area. Read Less
