The atmosphere of this community is calm and quiet, like the suburbs, a place to raise kids. Located in Nassau County, Long Island, the city shares its borders Queens, NY. Beautiful houses are throughout. Sch ...Read More ools here are rated above average compared to NYC. There are plenty ways to commute, local buses are available all around and the LIRR passes through this town. Driving is breeze on the clean, smooth streets.

If you are looking for entertainment you won't be disappointed. There are multiple well-known places to grab a bite to eat or watch a movie. Live air shows are performed locally during the summer time. Some of the best areas to visit in Elmont, NY would be P.F. Changs, Applebee's, AMC Theatres etc. Shopping centers are also around. With stores such as Home Depot, Target, Lowes, and more.

Overall it is a beautiful place to live and grow a family. This community has great schools, commute, and businesses. These are the ratings I gave to Elmont, NY. Read Less
