You can travel to anywhere in Bradenton in 5-20 minutes, anywhere in Sarasota in 18-40 minutes, to downtown or the edge in St. Petersburg in 20 minutes, to the Tampa International Airport in 45 minutes, to Orlando in 90 minute ...Read More s. Beaches rated among the most beautiful in the world are 30-40 minutes away. The Manatee River runs along the Southern border of Ellenton, which is beautiful and abundant in wildlife, including marine life and birds. On any given day you'll see Osprey, Herons, Egrets and every type bird you can imagine. I see more on a walk in my neighborhood than any birding sanctuary area I've visited. The Prime Outlet Malls are conveniently located minutes from anywhere in Ellenton. There are numerous places to dine locally as well as a short drive to neighboring towns. Housing is reasonable.
