Summers are long, warm, and sticky. Evening highs achieve 90 degrees, with directing evening ocean breezes and incessant electrical storms, and warm nights in the 70's.

There are large amount of amusement parks, museums, outdoor activities, and major-league professional sports, including baseball, football, and hockey.
