Traffic Warrants?! Really? 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 16, 2021) Apparently while driving through this charming enclave, a stop sign was missed. And, I assume, a traffic camera recorded the violation. Instead of being mailed a citation and a copy of the photo, as happens in any other community I've ever visited, they simply mail notice of a cr ...Read More iminal warrant being issued. A criminal warrant as first notice of a moving violation. Their town website looks like it was designed with geocities in 1996 and when you call to have the situation explained you're transferred to random voice mail systems.

I'm happy to pay the fine, but, sweet Christmas, a criminal warrant as a FIRST notice?

Wonderful, quiet place to live! 5 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 10, 2020) We bought out house in Edgecliff Village in the last year and have nothing but positive things to say about it! Those who are looking for a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, look no further. My husband left the garage door open on accident shortly after moving into the ...Read More neighborhood, and a kind neighbor closed our garage and left a note for us! It's truly a warm, friendly, safe environment for those who are looking for a suburban neighborhood with the benefit of being a short drive from downtown Fort Worth and the Hulen shopping district. AVOID Edgecliff Village 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 06, 2019) I would not even recommed this community to someone I dislike. Even they would not deserve the trials of living here. The "city" does not provide ANY services....except garbage pickup (no branches, nothing NOT in a trash bag). The city is continually monitoring your yard, your tr ...Read More ees, YOUR HOME. The city WILL send notices constantly about mow this, cut this, replant or replace this. Most of which have been done before they complain. The city government is the ultimate "good 'ole boy" system. Useless and nonresponsive. If I could afford it, I would sell my house here NOW!!! And move back to Ft. Worth...which is just a few blocks from this nightmare of a community I find myself in. Poor customer service at City Hall 0.5 rating By Chapps ( May 01, 2014) Edgecliff has the worst water policies of any city I have ever known. If you don't pay your bill in 15 days from the 1st of the month, you get a late fee and a disconnection notice. If you don't pay by the last day of the month, they cut it off on the first of the next month. You ...Read More read that right. They CUT OFF YOUR WATER IN 28-30 DAYS!!! Everywhere else, you are not late until 30 days. What makes me upset the most is. They will disconnect the services for $3.00! Yup. I underpaid by $3 one time and they threatened to terminate services. I had just paid $150 CASH! Really people? $3??? This morning I woke up and realized it was the 1st of the month, and we had not paid the water. I rushed down to city hall with a $160 check. Deposited it in the drop slot at 8am. At 9am my water was disconnected. Are you kidding me? I don't know how much is owed. But it can't be that much. Don't care at this point. The fight is on! I put a stop payment on that check. I will find out how much they think they are owed and get a certified money order. We will be going to court this time. They are the only ones I have any problems paying. They do not work well with the people living in their town. Fort Worth need to take the town of Edgecliff Village back. This can't continue to happen. Read Less
