Eau Claire, WI - A Peaceful Place to Visit User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 10, 2010) I am a student at the University of Wisconsin. I have one more year, and I will have my nurses license. These last three years in Eau Claire have been a blast. There ware so many things to do here that I am thinking about staying after I graduate.

I have always been a big fan of

Not only do they have one of the best symphonies in the country, they have six beautiful gardens you can stroll around and see while listening to a concert.

One of the best places to eat and enjoy live music in the city of Eau Claire is the Acoustic Cafe. I like to go there because the prices are reasonable. This is where my friends and I go hang out every weekend and listen to the local musicians. They have a variety of fancy coffee to choose from. I like to go here and relax when I am needing a break from my studies.

The city of Eau Claire is so beautiful and there are a lot of outdoor activities to do. Fishing, canoeing and riding a bike are some of the favorite spring and summer activities.

The only thing is, I wish it would not get so cold during the winter, but it's a small price to pay to live in this great city of Eau Claire! Read Less
