East Liverpool, OH: Not A Great City User Rating 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) It's kind of sad when the highest praise you can give a city is the fact that it has decent schools. Unfortunately, that is just the case when it comes to East Liverpool, Ohio. I have been living in East Liverpool since 2013, mainly because it is a smallish community that is, for ...Read More the most part, quiet and drama-free. I have tried to overlook the more negative aspects of life here, such as a steadily growing crime rate, neighborhoods that are starting to look more and more like slums every day, and a miserably failing job market. My own neighborhood, which used to be considered one of the best areas in East Liverpool, has become depressing and run down.

At least there are still a few things to do for entertainment around here. There's the Salem Fun Factory for the kids, the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens nearby, the Carnegie Science Center, and the Museum of Ceramics - not exactly scintillating entertainment, but it's better than sitting around watching the rest of the grass die.
