Defiance, OH is a really nice place to call home 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) If you've been looking for a small, country-like setting to put down roots, then living in Defiance, Ohio is just what you're looking for. I've lived all over the state and Defiance is one of the best areas in Ohio to live in. It's just close enough to bigger cities to make findi ...Read More ng a job pretty easy, and we have excellent schools here, which is important to families considering moving to the area. The people here are just great. Many have lived here for decades and they welcome "newbies" with open arms. There isn't very much crime here, which is another plus. It's just a nice little place to be.

Can't say we have a whole lot by way of entertainment and attractions, but we do have a couple of spots that deserve mentioning. We have the old-time Sauder Village, which is one of my favorite places to visit and tour. There's Escape Game Experience, and Defiance Recreation for some fun family bowling. For anyone who enjoys shopping, we have the Northtowne Mall. Come have a look around. You'll like it here. Read Less
