I’ve been in deerfield beach for 7 years. I don’t see any of the negative comments expressed by another reviewer. It appears the reviewer was young and has ,a completely different point of view.
The beach in the daytime is very nice. I go often and love it. I’ve also been ...Read More
near the beach at night. So far I’ve never had a problem. Publix workers are polite and respectful. The disrespect the reviewer is talking about, in my opinion, is typical of south florida in general. It’s a melting pot of different cultures and tourist. Not only deerfield. I’ve been in Boca, and I’ve seen people there with the worst attitudes. But I’ve met many very nice people and I have a great social life.
I’m sad when someone says a place is terrible when In reality it most certainly isn’t. I

I lived in this city for 4 years, and I really, really hated it with a passion. Where do I start. First of all Deerfield Beach is a vacation city, and you have to deal with a ton of out of towners who have no respect for the city. The city is full of trash everywhere, you don't n ...Read More
otice this until you get out and walk around. Futhermore, most of the residents in the city think they are vacation 24/7 and treat the city and everyone with disrespect. Everyone here drinks and at night the beach is always a drunk madness, (I recommend not going there at night or day or anytime really) Even at daytime everyone is drinking and it's a complete nightmare. Traffic here is pretty bad, but Miami is worse. I also went to school here for some time and the schools were TERRIBLE, and it's not the teachers fault, rather the students fault because all the kids had NO RESPECT for any of teachers and talked super loud all day. I also worked at a publix here and none of the customers have respect for anyone. When people aren't drunk here they don't talk to anyone because they are so addicted to drinking they don't know how to socialize without it. Everyone here isolates themself when they aren't drinking or partying. Sure there are some good people here, but they don't actually participate in the community, or not trying to do anything to help our situation. On the bright side, the city does have some nice places to eat like the whale's rib, and charm city. Broward Transit is amazing buses every 30 minutes on US-1. When I lived there that was useful to get out of this shitty city and go to Boca or North Fort Lauderdale

I relocated to Deerfield Beach, Fl about 8 years ago because of my job, and have been here ever since. When I am not at work, I enjoy water skiing and spending time on the beach. We have a lot of tourists who visit each year that like to do the same.

ts in Deerfield Beach that I visit often is Whales Rib Incorporated. They have the best seafood! You may have also seen this restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. My favorite dish they serve is the dolphin fish sandwich. Don't worry, it's not actual dolphin, it's actually mahi-mahi. Their menu offers seafood that is unique to other restaurants around. I like to shop by convenience, so I like the fact that we have 3 nice shopping centers not too far from each other. I would recommend the Cove Shopping Center. This shopping center has a nice selection of stores, and I always seem to find what I am looking for. A lot of our tourist each year likes to shop at them also.
At night in Deerfield Beach, I like to visit a fun bar with my friends called "Singers karaoke Klub". This place is awesome. We have a blast singing karaoke and the price of their drinks is not bad either.
Deerfield Beach, FL is an awesome place to live because of the beaches and wonderful summer actives. The only thing I don't really care for is when the hurricane season rolls around.
