area also has a lot for young adults and children to stay entertained with. The property values are fairly excellent as most of the houses built in this area were built in the early 1990's. High Pointe is a school district located just north of F.M. 1382 off of Belt Line road. This area began development in the late 1980's and has went from three small neighborhoods to nearly its own town. The area provides a fire station, an elementary school, tennis courts, a pond, baseball diamond, soccer fields, a camping site, a mall, Softball fields, Ellis Fairway Go Karts and Putt Putt Golf, Multiple grocery areas, doctors, dentists, gyms, a wide variety of restaurants and fast food, nail salons, movie theater, pharmacies, and many other attractions for modern living.
This city is a suburb located southwest directly of Dallas the city and connects at its northeast corner to Duncanville, Grand Prairie, Oak Cliff. Its eastern border connects to DeSoto, Lancaster and Midlothian. Cedar Hill has a Lake called Joe Pool Lake. Joe Pool Lakes main attractions are a state park for nature exploring and fishing, boating and swimming. On the other side of Joe Pool Lake is Mansfield Texas. To get to Cedar Hill you can simply take the Interstate 20 exit to Cedar Hill on Farm to Market Road 1382 or take the MLK Freeway, HWY US 67 exit to Cedar Hill. There are many exits so if you want the main exit you would take the exit to F.M. 1382 from HWY US 67. This is the center of Cedar Hill for attractions. There are many shopping centers and any type of store you can think of. This all together is an excellent city to raise children in and is not far from Dallas and Ft. Worth.
