ehive of activity year round. Having lived in Old Preston Hollow and maintained friends within this Texas grandeur location, which is filled with perfectly landscaped estates and wealthy residents who are generous, kind and caring. I've only seen from the outside gates and at a distance, the mansions of Ross Perot and his son, Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and a millionaire entrepreneur. The 1930's established the township of Preston Hollow which today is Old Preston Hollow, governed by neighborhood associations.
Each estate, mansion, condos or townhomes, are purposefully designed by the best in the world of architecture, past and present. Preston Hollow is located just seven miles from downtown Dallas and is a well patrolled area with private and local police officers. If you are walking or driving down any of the perfectly manicured country lanes and streets of Preston Hollow, you have been invited and are not sightseeing. My friends attended the many private schools within the Preston Hollow neighborhoods, as well as the nearby public schools, which provides the best for their minority students. No matter whether it's public or private education, Preston Hollow supports their students. As a matter of fact, private school kids will attend and support public school kids at their games - Go Preston - is the common theme. If you are a family who plans to relocate to Preston Hollow, your child's education is in excellent hands.
Exquisite Preston Hollow contains small lakes which are associated with each of its homes, green mountain views creeks, large tennis courts, horse stables, designed pools and whatever your lavish heart desires. Yes, you know who your famous neighbors are, but you seldom see each other, except at special venues. The Preston Center Mall and the Preston Royal Mall are a five mile drive away with beautifully designed courtyards and unique boutiques and shops that parallel shopping in Europe. A new generation of Prestonites live alongside an older generation, causing continued growth in Preston's many luxury neighborhoods. Since I moved from Preston Hollow, some 15 years ago, it has grown exponentially and is continuing to grow, with older mansions and estates, being replaced by larger modern estates.
