Northeast Dallas, TX is My Second Home User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( Sep 06, 2012) In June 2011, I moved to North Dallas, TX from Washington, DC and lived there for one year. The area I lived in was right next door to Richardson, TX.

My total experience in this city was totally awesome and comfortable. I loved the fact that I was pretty much in the center of

It was very convenient to get around because there is endless ways of getting to different places because I was right by the 75 and 635 as well as 35, which allowed me to get to one same place from many different locations. If I see one route being jammed with a lot of traffic, I could easily go another route and still get to the same place in the same amount of time. How much better can that get for anybody?!

I lived in an apartment complex that was mostly populated by Hispanics and Blacks. My experience was good, the landlord was excellent at responding at any maintenance issues that I may have had and the neighbors were very nice, pleasant, or they simply kept to themselves, like I did. The only thing that I did not like about living at the apartment complex was the fact that some neighbors like to sit out in the parking lot, which sits right under my living room and bedroom, and blared music from their cars at inappropriate times. But, I do give those same neighbors some credit for promptly turning down the music when my fiancé went outside and politely asked them to do so because he had to get up in the wee hours for work.

Dallas, TX just felt like home to me, which is why it saddened me to have to return to Washington, DC. But, it is in my fiancé's and mine's plans to possibly return back to Dallas, TX once everything is taken care of in DC. Read Less
