I lived in Cuyahoga Falls for over two years and I loved the city's quaint setting. One of the best parts of the city is the square located downtown adjacent to the river. All summer, festivals and concerts are held there in the beautiful setting. There is lots of housing availab ...Read More
le within walking distance of this spot and it is a great place to relax and enjoy the summer with friends.
Besides offering fun options downtown, the city is also home to the Blossom Music Center. I have enjoyed a number of concerts in this great outdoor venue with friends. The Center attracts national artists and Located nearby is the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. One of my favorite things to do here is to take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad rides. I have taken a ride in the summer before. You can even bring along your bike to gain access to additional trails at the different stops along the route. At Christmas, they offer themed excursions such as the Polar Express ride which offers fun for the entire family.
If you enjoy staying fit, the Natatorium is a great fitness facility. I loved using the indoor track and kicking back in the pool. I also personally enjoyed using the library that was located near the Natatorium. It offers a little of something for everyone to enjoy. In the summer I also liked visiting the Falls Farmers Market to buy fresh produce.
Cuyahoga Falls is a quiet town that is designed to cater to families. There is not a lot of nightlife here, so younger adults might enjoy living closer to one of the surrounding larger cities. Inside the city there are a number of shopping options and anything that is not available right in town is usually only a few minutes away in nearby Akron.
Located right off State Route 8, Cuyahoga Falls is conveniently located near Akron and within driving distance of Cleveland and Canton. Individuals looking for a nice town to live in with a beautiful landscape will enjoy living in Cuyahoga Falls.
