Country Club, FL - Relaxing In The Florida Sun User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 12, 2015) I moved to Country Club, FL about three years ago with my grandparents from New Jersey. It's a world of difference. While it's relaxing in the area, there is a lot of hustle and bustle with people trying to get to work each day. There are also several golf courses, and it seems a ...Read More s though almost every home has a pool.

Many of the homes are large, but they have the appearance of a beach house. Granted, the town is located right near the coast. One of my favorite things to do is shop, so it's a good thing that there are so many shopping centers. These aren't the typical malls that you might expect in a suburban town. These are strip malls with small stores that sell crafts, homemade foods and other items that you might find while on vacation.

After a day of shopping and before heading to the beach, I like to get a meal at Bahama Breeze. This is a grill for the younger crowd, but there are a lot of the golfers who try to eat earlier in the day. There is a Caribbean atmosphere to the restaurant. I've noticed that there really aren't that many things to do with the family. You might find the occasional miniature golf course or an arcade, but if you want attractions, then you have to travel to the surrounding cities.

The people who live here are very friendly. They will sit on their front porches and wave as you pass by, many saying hello while walking down the street. Country Club is a simple area where you can go to relax and enjoy life. Read Less
