Cortland, New York is Like a Year-Round Resort Town! 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I live in Cortland, New York, and I would never move! It is a beautiful place to enjoy all four seasons of the year. This charming town is nestled in the best area of Upstate New York. The place is filled with natural beauty and nature at its best! I love to go apple picking in C ...Read More ortland. Many of the farms are family owned, and they are filled with fresh produce and luscious baked goods. There are parks in town with plenty of outdoor activities, such as Yaman Park. It's a great place to go swimming, skating, or just for a picnic and a hike!

There are many opportunities to find work here. The homes are beautifully maintained, and they are set on large, lush grounds. I love shopping in the area stores, especially Save-A-Lot and the Food Bag. There are plenty of restaurants with every cuisine you could ever imagine! The pride of ownership and community is so evident here. Read Less
