lace to live, with easy access to stores and food. Winters can get a little harsh for someone unaccustomed with Upstate New York's colder months, but the summers more than make up for it.
Corning's claim to fame has always been glass. They have a museum where they have lots of unusual glass on display, and you can even watch live demonstrations of glass blowing. Today, Corning produces screen glass for several different smartphone manufacturers.
I enjoyed my time living in Corning, and the only reason I moved was for work. One of the best areas in Corning is the illuminated pedestrian bridge, and is definitely worth a visit when in town.
