g service. The only disadvantage is the cost of living has increased over the years. However, the many many amenities and attractions certainly makes up for the cost of living increase.
The job market downtown is now more diverse, consistent and strong. However, working professionals usually relocate north of the suburbs where the job market is more lucrative. There are still job opportunities for the residents whom decide to work within the town. The average household income is around $65,000.
The summers are breezy, warm and humid, and it would be unusual for temperatures to rise over 95. June through September, is where we get daily showers and thunderstorms. Winters are fair with light rainfall that at times may produce hail. Due to the cities inland location, there is no chance of getting hurricanes.
