Not all that great here. 1.5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 28, 2025) Since I have lived in Conneaut Ohio I have never had a job that paid a livable wage. I have been homeless for two years, and slept in the streets because there’s no help for the homeless. Want to move away from here. Unless you got family here and you got a $20 an hour job you ...Read More will struggle to get housing. The houses for sale are overvalued by thousands of dollars. The public transportation is not really available here so if you don’t have a car you won’t have a job. Read Less

The crime isn't bad like most people say it is, the worst you get is a domestic abuse but that's about it. Jobs are not the greatest due to the limited of shopping options in the area, like I said you would have to drive to Erie or Ashtabula. The only job that's makes you a lot of good money is working in the prison here. We no longer have a Kmart or Giant Eagle anymore. Read Less

Housing and employment can be a bit hard to find as well. I will say that the neighborhoods we have, while they may not be fancy or very upscale, are decent and well-tended for the most part.

I'm a homebody myself, which is a good thing because there's not a whole lot to do around here for entertainment. We do have a few fun and interesting things to do to keep us busy when we're tired of looking at four walls. There's the Connault Historical Railroad Society, Buccia Vineyard, the Sheldon Calvary Company, and Sichko's Pub which has food and drink, live music, and a pool hall. We don't have anything very fancy around here, but we do have is nice and we like it. Read Less
