Clive, Iowa is a Perfect Family PLace 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Living in Clive, close to Des Moines, Iowa, has been just perfect for me and my family for over 16 years now. If I had to complain about a single thing here it would be the weather. We do see a lot of tornados in these parts. But we take it all in stride, head down to the basemen ...Read More t when Mother Nature gets angry, and ride it out. It's a small price to pay to live in a great community full of wonderful neighbors, where there are fantastic schools, lovely homes, a good employment market, a very low crime rate, and just all-around peace and tranquility.

Being located close to Des Moines provides lots of big-city amenities when it comes to entertainment. We have Pinot's Palette, a unique and fun place where you get to create a piece of artwork while enjoying food, drink, and some great company. We also have the one-of-a-kind John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park, Living History Farms, and the Science Center of Iowa. Never a lack of exciting things to do, and that just makes Clive an even greater place to live. Read Less
