Clinton, MD City Review 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Clinton, MD, is an excellent medium-sized city for you to consider relocating to. The town has a few amenities, and it is also fairly close to Washington, D.C. It is not perfect by any means, but there is definitely some positives to the city.

First of all, there are a few attra ...Read More ctions in this city, including the Surratt House Museum, which is the former house of John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of President Abraham Lincoln. Besides that, there are a few parks where you can enjoy doing some exercise, having a picnic, or simply just enjoying the day.

The town still has a small community feel to it. It has some housing options that are close to public transportation, and Clinton is much quieter than its D.C. counterpart. The only drawback is that for most activities, access to a vehicle will still be needed. There are also a number of restaurant options, including Chinese, Italian, Ribs, or American options.

The nightlife and the shopping are not always the best, however, the fact that Clinton is only fifteen minutes away from the D.C. area definitely makes up for that deficiency. Overall, the fact that it still has that small town feel, yet is right in the suburbs does give it some degree of appeal. Read Less
