Good for raising small children, hardly any activities for teens and young adults that's free, almost have to know someone who knows a guy to get a decent job, wages are low, rents high, groceries are getting higher, gas is insane almost back to horse and buggy times, as adults, ...Read More
no entertainment such as plays, concerts, .. best part is everyone knows everyone can't say anything without it getting repeated back to you, festival etc, everything is church related so keep in mind there will never be a rock group stopping here

I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee, however I will never forget 3 years ago when I lived in Cleveland, TN. I loved so much about the community in Cleveland. I would wake up in the morning and take my two children to school. One our morning walking to school, all my neighbor ...Read More
s would also be walking their children to school. On my way back to my house, which was only 10 minutes away on foot, I would always stop at the local coffee shop for my morning latte. Cleveland has so much to offer. The amenities, the cost of living as well as the education are phenomenal. However, the only aspects I did not like was the crime as well as the housing.
To start off with, I walked everywhere. This was not a car driven community. All the neighbors actually knew each other which to me is important. In addition to this, the cost of living in Cleveland compared to the overall index of Tennessee was a lot cheaper. Health care, groceries, and utilities were all extremely cheap as compared to the state as well as the nation's cost of living.
One of the aspects of living in Cleveland that I did not enjoy was the crime rate. Many of my neighbors experienced crime such as car robberies. No one in my neighborhood was ever injured, however I never felt comfortable in leaving my doors unlocked at night. My family never experienced robberies on account of the security system which is a huge recommendation when moving here. One last thing to watch out for is the cost of houses. If you are looking for a nice home in a respectable neighborhood, it is important to understand that the house may be more expensive than planned.
