More Than A Small Town User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I moved to a small town in NC called Clemmons about 10 years ago. My daughter's father lived there at the time, and I wanted them to be closer to each other. I've had opportunities to move, but Clemmons is so quiet with a comforting atmosphere that I haven't left. The most popula ...Read More r thing in the town is Tanglewood. There is a campground at the large park as well as a large pond where you can go fishing in the summer. Perhaps the best thing about living in Clemmons is that I get to see the Tanglewood Festival of Lights as many times as I want to each Christmas.

Mrs. Hanes' Moravian Cookie Factory is also located in Clemmons. You can take tours of the facility, but the secret to how the cookies are made isn't revealed. Although there are a few large apartment complexes, most of the housing options in Clemmons are older homes. There are very few restaurants, but the ones that are in the town are mostly locally owned, which is another reason I enjoy being here. Read Less
