Amenities of the neighborhood are phenomenal = A. There is a pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, and a walking/running/biking trail that works its way through the neighborhood. There is a ...Read More brilliant sense of community here, which I dare you to find elsewhere. Cost of Living: You can find great homes in Davis Lake for less than available elsewhere. Crime: Crime is minimal here and we are serious about taking it on and stopping it.Education: The schools in our district include the IB program at North Mecklenburg High School and there are several options for private education or charter schools.Employment: There are several large employers within a 2 mile radius of Davis Lake including: UNCC, University Hospital, Electrolux. North Lake Mall, etc. As for attractions, NorthLake Mall and theaters is 2 miles away. The National Whitewater Centers is not far and has great hiking and biking trails. This is a family oriented neighborhood, so nightlife is not in our area but only 10 miles away via interstate. Read Less
