Pocket Of Quiant Living 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I have many fond memories of growing up in Carney, when we moved away I was devastated. I came back a few years ago, and not much has changed beyond the obvious. It’s a wonderful place to life, very quaint and family oriented. The area overall isn’t. Sry desirable, but Carney ...Read More is a nice little pocket among weeds.

The school system is decent,y above average, I don’t have kids, but that’s what many of my neighbors who do have generally shared over the years. There are quite a number of places to dine and downtown is little more than a few minutes away.

The knot problem I have is that the people tend be more on the retired side of life. There are plenty of families around to ensure it’s not a strictly retirement geared town, but it often feels like it. Carney is a nice place to race a family, thinking about it myself, but we’ll see. Read Less
