Brooklyn, OH Has Only One Thing In Its Favor User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) It's a sad thing when an entire city has only one thing going for it, but sadly that is the case in Brooklyn, Ohio. I have been living in Brooklyn for 2 years now and the only good thing I can say about this place is that the schools are excellent. From there everything goes down ...Read More hill. The job market is awful, the housing market is awful, the crime rate is awful, the community itself is falling apart because the people who live here just don't bother to care for it anymore. Don't get me wrong - the people here are nice enough, but it's like they've just let the grind of daily life take over everything and they no longer even see how shabby the neighborhoods are becoming.


At least there are some pretty interesting things to do around here for fun. There's the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Sweeties Golfland mini golf, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, the Parma Armory, Little Explorers indoor play center for the kids, and the Nautica Queen Cruise Ship which offers tours of the city from the water. Other than that, I can't say this is one of the worst areas in Ohio but I also can't say that it's one of the best areas in Ohio. Read Less
