Brookfield, WI: Quiet Suburban Bliss 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 26, 2018) Brookfield is a family-friendly suburb of Milwaukee. We have a lot of places to shop including Brookfield Square Mall or Mayfair Mall that is not that far away. We also have a movie theater, zoo, and a great library.

We don't have much of a nightlife here, but downtown Milwauke ...Read More e is about 25 minutes away which has a more vibrant scene. The city is an ideal location especially if you have a job in Milwaukee because you can either take commute using the street or high way to get there faster. Traffic is reasonable depending on what time you leave in the morning.

I can't speak about the schools as much because I don't have children, but my nieces and nephews attend Brookfield's public school. The public schools have a wonderful program that you may find appealing. There are private school options as well. If you like high school football games, check out Brookfield Central or Brookfield East games. Read Less
