Barrington, IL- City Review User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Barrington; the best city to reside! I have lived in this city for eight years. I like the manner people in this city interact with each other and is an excellent place to raise a family. The town has numerous job opportunities making life comfortable and sustainable. There is a ...Read More pleasant atmosphere in the ‘Downtown’ region making the region enjoyable to live. However, nightlife is highly restricted, and people have no opportunity to engage in night social interactions and entertainments. Thus if you are the kind of person who loves nightlife Barrington is not right city for you.

The presence of restaurants which are situated in strategically accessible areas allows customers to shop in. People do not travel or walk for vast distances as shops are all over. Available stores give an opportunity for students to purchase their essentials hence saving time. The city has Metra train line where tourists can travel without difficulties. Historic Movie Theater and Park District are the major attractions in the city. The downside of the city has excellent road networks which facilitate smooth movement of people and products from one area to another. Read Less
